1. Who we are
These terms apply when you book a paid training on becomeamaister.com. The trainings are sold by M2X Technologies, a company registered in the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Dubai, which operates Maister (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@becomeamaister.com.
2. What you book
A booking gives you one seat, for one person, in the cohort named on the training page and on the payment page: its dates, its times and its city. What the seat includes is described on the training page at the time you book. For trainings held in person, we send you the venue by email before the first session.
3. Price and payment
The price is the amount shown on the payment page, in the currency shown there, and is paid in full when you book. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. A promotion code, where you have one, is applied on the payment page and cannot be added after payment.
Your seat is confirmed once your payment has gone through. We confirm it by email, and Stripe sends you a receipt.
4. The Love-it guarantee
If you do not love your website by the end of the training, Merthe works on it with you, one to one and at no extra cost, for up to one month.
The guarantee applies when you have attended every session of the training and completed all the steps in the guide, and when you ask for it by email within 7 days of the last session. The month runs from your request. The guarantee covers the participant who attended, for the website they built in the training. It is a promise of further work with you, not a refund.
5. If you cancel
Seats are not refundable once booked. You may move your seat once to a later cohort of the same training, or give it to someone else, by telling us by email before the first session.
Missing a session does not entitle you to a refund, and a missed session cannot be made up.
6. If we change or cancel a training
If we need to change a date or a time, or cancel a cohort, we tell you as soon as we can, and you choose between a seat on the new date, a seat in a later cohort, or a full refund. We may change the venue within the same city; we tell you by email before the session.
7. Your website and your accounts
The website you build, and everything you put into it, is yours. You open and pay for the tools you use (such as a Claude subscription, a domain and hosting) in your own name; their costs are not included in the price of the training. The materials we give you are for your own use and may not be resold or shared publicly.
8. Photos and features
We only show your website, your name or your photo in our channels if you have agreed to it, and you may withdraw that agreement at any time.
9. Liability
We take care to teach well and to keep our sessions running as planned. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you in connection with a training is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
10. Your personal data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
